Terms & Condition

Nepal Pilgrim Travel reserves the right to amend, alter, vary or withdraw any tour it has advertised or published if it is deemed advisable or necessary without assigning any reason if the tour is cancelled all amount paid by you will be fully refunded, but no compensation is payable for consequential loss suffered.

Tour timing and itinerary are subject to change. Consequently, it may be revised at any time during the tour, with or without notice depending on the exigencies of occasion. We will try to advise you of these amendments, prior to the start of the tour or on tour. In this case if any tour participant misses any part of sight seeing due to delay on his part, he will not be entitled to claim a refund for the same. No refund is payable for any unutilized services.

Nepal Pilgrim Travel accepts no responsibilities for losses, additional expenses due to delay or change, missed connections, strike, weather/quarantine or other causes howsoever caused and all such expenses must be borne by the tourists.

We may, at our discretion, require any person to withdraw from any tour if we deem his/her acts or conduct offensive or a nuisance to other passengers, and we shall have no further liability.

Reservation

You can reserve your seats at our Head Office, branches by paying Draft/cheque in favour of Nepal Pilgrim Travel, payable at concerned branches in person or by post, i.e., Rs. 5,000/- per seat for India tours and Rs. 15,000/- for Nepal Tours & Rs. 20,000/- for Kailash tour.

Reconfirmation of seats

Balance amount to be sent to us so as to reach us on or before 30 days to the tour commencement date for Nepal and India tours.

So that, we can arrange accommodation and transportation according to the size of the group with prior confirmation of all arrangements. Those who book their seats only by paying advance and delay in making balance payment on date have no right to complaint while on tour or to express any type of grievance after the completion of their journey.

Cancellation

You have the right at any time to cancel the booking but if you do so, must make the cancellation in writing and it must reach to us. Cancellation charges would be:

  1. 10% of the tour cost if notified before 30 days.
  2. 20% of the tour cost if notified before 21 days.
  3. 30% of the tour cost if notified before 15 days.
  4. 50% of the tour cost if notified 3 days before.
  5. No refund will be given after commencement of the tour.

Accommodation

Accommodation will be arranged in twin sharing basis in decent hotels (rooms with attached bathroom facility). Triple sharing rooms can be arranged on your special request. We don’t provide Dormitories in any of our tour programmes.

Single Supplement

This will be applied according to your choice of the tour. Kindly consult the office before booking. Single supplementary is available an actual extra cost.

Seat Allotment

The allotment of seats in AC bus for our tours will be on first come first serve basis. The seat numbers will be allotted at booking time itself.

LFC/LTC

We shall provide your proper bill, which includes 4.08% service tax. Sanctioning of LFC/LTC will be the whole discretion of the Institution, and we are not responsible for any shortfall in the reimbursement of the bills issued.

BREAKING OF TOURS & TREKKING

Any tour or Trekking can be broken at the wish of our guest(s) or in case of sickness, accident, landslides, and other factors beyond our control. No refund will be made and clients should bear his/her expenses for rest of days.

Amenities Provided

Medical Care

We have Medicines for minor ailments during journey for example vomit bag/barf bag, journey sickness tablets, and common tablets for fever, pain, stomach problem, etc. are available on request. For Kailash Manasaoravar Pilgrims we provide special First Aid Medical kit free of cost.

Onward & Return journey

We can also book your Onward & Return journey train tickets in any class (subject to availability) from your own place so that you can join our group at the first destination. As such to ensure proper reservation you have to book your seats well in advance. As per the railway rules the train tickets are not transferable. We can neither block the tickets nor get your seats confirmed in any other manner if you are late to reserve your seats. Air tickets also can be arranged depending on availability.

Passengers Guidelines

  • Passengers are requested to bring the minimum required clothes for the tour (less luggage more comfort). Please bring only limited luggage, one medium sized suitcase per person and one additional hand bag to keep inside the coach. Do not bring blankets and bedding. Baggages at all times and in all circumstances are the sole responsibility of the passenger.
  • Passengers should bring with them an umbrella, regular medicines (BP, Sugar, etc.) and a torch light.
  • Passengers may bring a full arm sweater, pair of socks, cap and pair of Hand-glosses (for Mukthinath/Darjeeling tour). Shoes are not compulsory; however, toe socks with slippers will be enough.
  • Kailash Manasarovar/Damodarkund passengers must wear trekking shoes.
  • All Passengers must bring a photo identity document issued by Govt of India during journey. (Any one among the following: Voter ID Card, Pan card, Driving license, Passport, ID issued by State/Central Government, Bank Passbook with photograph.)
  • Indian rupees 500 and 1000 denominations are banned in Nepal. Please bring 100, 50, 20, 10 denominations. All foreign currencies and international credit/debit cards are acceptable in Nepal.
  • Pilgrims can be bring offerings like dry fruits, vasthram with them for Lord Sri Muktinath and for other temples.
  • Passenger wishing to do religious rites (Brahmins) must bring Panchagacham Dhoti for gents and Nine yards saree for ladies.
  • We would provide pure vegetarian Brahmin cooked (without Garlic and onion) food throughout the tour except train journey. Evening Tea will be served while staying in hotels only.
  • All passengers must bring one plate, tumbler and spoon for their food.
  • Kindly note that you are undertaking a religious tour. Hence you are requested not to expect too much of comforts in few remote areas during the tour as your daily life at back home. Our ultimate aim is to worship the Almighty and seek his blessings. Nepal Pilgrim Travel will do all its best for your comforts.
